The Trooper

Well, I have been so bad about posting pictures, taking pictures, or blogging in general.  I've been getting used to my sweet husband not being here helping me after about 2 years of having him on hand.  I kind of went into panic mode which makes me go into drill sergeant mode.  I realized I start barking orders at the kids to keep them in line and keep things on a schedule to get it all done in a day.  After bringing Trinity to dance on Monday for the girls' rehearsal I was talking to Sandy (my mother-in-law) and told her how crazy things had been.  She reminded me to enjoy the kids and not to get so caught up in all the stuff that needs to be done (or calls my name to be done) during the day.  She's right.  I have to constantly pray that God will just take over me.  I have such a tendency to want to control everything when I get nervous or anxious and what happens when I try to control everything?  I just screw it all up!  Yesterday I just relaxed.  If I didn't get all the lessons done-there's always tomorrow.  And everything got done.  And the kids were much less stressed.  It was a much better day.  Despite Brendan breaking up the playdough into a jillion tiny pieces and dropping them all over the kitchen floor, deciding he would play with Trinity's dress up beads on the potty and wrap them around his nether-regions and then proceeding to pee all over the floor instead of in the potty, and I had to go clean the back patio because Princess continues to use it as a bathroom.  Those were the enlightening times of the day.

But here are the things I promised.  First our new truck.

It is sooo nice.  Craig has heated leather seats, a moon roof, CD changer, it's the Limited edition Trooper.  I am so jealous.  But I am also happy my husband has a nice vehicle to drive after driving the mini-van for the past four years after he gave away his dodge stealth.  The sun was rising over the truck.

As you can see it was really bright...poor Trini

This time last year this picture had a sweet grandma with the little ones and the picture was taken by a very pregnant lady!
