I can't believe I haven't updated this blog since December...before Christmas! Christmas, the New Year, and a few family birthdays have come and gone. We had a wonderful Christmas and were actually well from the stomach flu well before it came. Our New Year we made many plans on how to rid ourselves of our debt accumulated from 2 years without a job and also how to start taking care of house maintenance that had to be put on the wayside since there were no longer funds to use for those things. It's been a harsh reality to say the least. We still have so much that we will not be able to do and replace that we know has to be done eventually. But we just keep remembering that we have a home and that God has blessed us here and now.
We are still going through health issues. I think the main reason I haven't posted is I always seems to have pain or health problems that don't allow me to go to church every weekend or participate in life as I want. I hate having to post that over and over on here. It's more than a little depressing for me and I can't imagine you all reading. Craig has nicknamed me "Debbie Downer" from Saturday Night Live. I have never seen her but I get the impression she's alot like Eeyore. I used to be the positive one in our relationship...but pain and lack of sleep because of it has a way of changing you.
On the blessing side I am overwhelmed. We have found a fantastic church that is small and has incredible pastor that is truly on fire for God. We love listening to him. We are already making friends and I pray will join a Sunday School class as my health permits. I do pray their music ministry will grow because there is no choir now and I prayed that once we joined a church I was going to join that choir. It's all in God's perfect timing.
Brendan is doing awesome on his letters, shapes, numbers, colors, and he loves science! Annaliese loves to dance and listen to music. She is so much like Trinity that I feel like I'm raising her all over again. Girls are so much fun and boys are full of energy and mischievousness and I mean that in the best way. Trinity is amazing her school and she loves to dance. She is getting more confident in her opinions and growing up too fast. She'll be 10 in less than 3 weeks and I can't believe she is so tall she has to wear 14's in her jeans and shirts! She definitely doesn't take after me in the height department. She is beautiful. The best blessing is the love for Christ and yearning to hear God's word from Brendan and Trinity. That is such a blessing.
I leave you with these pictures:
