He Got the Job!

I'm super excited to say that after a year and a half of being unemployed Craig's former employer has hired him back in a technical position they have open in their food service industry. This is huge their PCS (petroleum division) has been taking hard hits for various reasons and that's why their were layoffs in that area.  At the time of Craig's lay off there were no open positions and he was also just looking at management and sales (where he was at the time).  His manager has him training Monday through Friday 8-5 for about 45 to 60 days as he trains and ramps up.  Then he will go into his actual hours which are Tuesday through Saturday probably 10am-7pm.  She gave him this schedule because she remembered him as a "church going man".  How's that for God looking out for us?  We should get a proposal from the HR manager on Monday when he's back from his PTO and know when his start date is, when benefits will begin, and what salary they are offering.  His manager and the other five people he interviewed with were very impressed with him (despite having the stomach flu and needing the entire days dosage of Imodium to make it through without incident).  Praise God!! 

We will be making this a special day for our family...just like when God brought the Israelites out of Egypt and slavery and finally the desert; He has brought us out of this adversity.  It's still not going to be easy and we are praying that it's enough money to save our home, but we know from experience never to doubt that He provides.  Thank you for all your prayers and incredible encouragement friends!!  What a nice way to end our Spring Break!
